I just got off the phone with a TOC associate of mine, he and I have been speaking on and off concerning where Henok was heading to school, well apparently it is official now. Henok has decided to stay in Canada and will go to Ryerson University. Henok has been weighing offers from some of the top running schools in North America including Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Providence and Arkansas.
He decided on Ryerson due to their coach a former shooting guard at Nichollos State, who came back to Canada to ply his trade on the hill and dale as well as roading it up all across North America. People have often speculated as to how this man whose legs are so short can run so quickly, it is this fact that brought Henok to Ryerson. A quote from Henok "I figure if he can run that fast with his circus midget body type imagine what he can do with me."
Many observers are shocked at this decision, but I for one applaud Henok for taking a chance on a small program, which has never actually competed at the OUAs. This is just the start that the coach needed to build his program and with Henok locked in no doubt many of the top Canadian high schoolers will not be far behind, I also have heard rumblings that an individual formally known as “T-bone” then referred to as “Popa Bone” may also be sporting the navy of the Rams, if he receives the extra year of eligibility from his days in the blue grass state.
Is this the start of Ryerson emergence, will the Gryphons and Lancers be brought to their knees by the new force in the OUA, only time will tell.
The "TnFnorth Homeland Security Department" has uncovered that Dennis Fairall and Dave Scott-Thomas are all ready combining their efforts in order to neutralize this new force.
