Guelph/KW twilight meets

There will be 4 twilight meets jointly run by Speed River and Tri-city track club.
The first meet will be Wed. April 14 at St. James track in Guelph.
Events will be as follows 3k, 200, 800. All events will be hand timed, this is grassroots track at its best.


Directions to St. James track:

take Old Brock Rd. north from Hwy 401, travel approx. 10km to Stone Rd.,

turn right (east) and head approx. 2km to Victoria Rd.,

turn left (north) and go approx. 4km to Grange St. turn right 400m and park in the lot.

Costs
Entry Fees:

OTFA members: $6 first event, $4 second event

Non-OTFA members: $8 first event, $5 second event

The remaning event dates will be released shortly.

The start time will be 6:30 with registration begin around 5:45. That should give more then enough time before dark. The second meet will be May 5 and then third will be around May 19th (actual date still to be confirmed). The May 5 will have 800, 1500 and 4 x 400. You can thank LVG (Luc Van Groetel) for the 200 offering.

Just a few details on the meet on Wednesday, the event unfortunately will be not sanctioned by the OTFA, however, the bonus of this is that there will be no entry fee. The order of events will be 3k, 200, 800. We will be using hand times, this meet will be really low-key, just an opportunity to hit the track and get a little racing situations, the later meets will be sanctioned and hopefully electrically timed. Start time 6:30 registration 5:45.
