Well I think there have been lots of posts like this before but hey im bored and im tired of reading about such seriuos posts..lets just have some fun.
So what are your favorite running songs? Which ones do you guys/girls listen to before runs,races to get you pumped up.
I will start by saying Born to run or any songs off the Top Gun soundtrack.

I'd have to say hero by foo fighters, and smeels like teen spirit, or you know you're right by nirvana....

foo fighters - come back
springsteen - thunder road
springsteen - lost in the flood
mellencamp - diamond joe
the doors - break on through (800m song)
zeppelin - rock and roll
zeppelin - babe im gonna leave you (great acoustic riffs)
so many more that my swamped brain cant think of...

But Really...
Eye of the Tiger by Survivor is my favorite.
Also going to say any kind of techno with a really hard drum line is good. Especially if it's uberfast.

break on through by the doors, and comeback by foo fighters were excellent choices delisle....Iw ould also say headstrong by trapt, also purple haze by hendrix, and a crow left of the murder by incubus

personally, I've found that rammstein and slipknot worked best for me during cross, and ac-dc and the hives worked best for track races. road or other I prefer good ol'techno like chemical bros, fatboy slim, underworld, and prodigy etc. but hey, whatever works best! it definitly depends on mood & personal taste...

I personally have never heard of any of those songs on that list.
A few that I have on a pre-race cd are
Billy talent-Prisoners of today, voices of violence 3 days grace-scared Linkin Park-In the end,Dont stay,Runaway The boss-Born to run Prodigy-Breathe ac dc-Thunder struck Live-Dolphins cry,Lightening crashes Bon Jovi-always(Ya I know its slow but hey...It does it for me) ..I cant remember the rest but those sure do it for me..practically anything off the billy talent,linkin park, or 3 days grace cd's will do for me.

Havn't really heard of most of the songs people are recommending........but Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake is a hype Jam!
