Anyone have any predictions on how the boys and girls will do this weekend, here is my shot
Jr. Boys
Henok 28
Pawluk, Woods and Winter all together with probably Woods a little bit ahead.
Sr Men Short
Sully 17
All the rest will be really tightly bunched between 45 and 60, my guess is Cantin will lead the way with Hayden, Coolsaet and Morrison in hot pursuit, Bourgioes just lacks the raw leg speed to kick with these guys.
Team will be about 8 and beat the yanks
Sr Men Long
Tough team to call my guess is Booth and Murphy will be the lead two guys, Johnson is a wild card based on the fact that I think he was focusing more on short end training trying to get on Short course while Booth and Murphy appear to have focused more on strength training. Obviously if Joel runs and isn't to destroyed from the 4k he will be the first man. I haven't seen any results from Deere, this like the short course and most World champs will be a bunch of canaucks together.
Jr Womes
A large pack around 70 hopefully someone will break out like Tara Mckay or Doetzell but to be fair I dont really have the knowledge to say it will happen.
Sr Women Short
Dare we dream of a medal, this is by far the best team we have ever sent last year it took 76 points so that means one around 10 (Emile Mondor) two more around 20 (Douma and Elmore) and someone in the 30s (Pells or Connelly), this team is deep the key will be whether Douma can translate her 1500 prowess to the hill and dale and if Elmore can build on her solid time at UW to be a top 25 type. If only Babcock was on the squad I would say they would be the favourite for the bronze.
Sr Womens long
Mondor (top 15) leads the charge hard to say where the rest will be, probably between 55 and 75. Stallwood is probably going to be the 2 girl with Zambrano as the 3.
