Just wanted to let everyone know that Milne beat Klassen for the first over 18 holes in their respective careers. It had happened before in 9 holes twilite matches but never over a full 18 holes. Klassen was devistated when his 9 iron on 18 drifted right left the door open for the youngster. Milne stepped up and stuck it to 8 feet to be able to hold off the old man and his 84. Milne cruised in with his 83, suprisingly missing a few putts late as well. The match was held at UBC on Monday. With Klassen's birthday on Wednesday we figure this may be sign on the times and can hopefully be a taste of what we'll see this '04 season.
