henok would have contended in the 200 with his kick
he looked like he was struggling the whole time and just killed the last lap, pretty amazing.

ya i was told by a few ppl that robson was going to be dq'ed. he suppossedly cut off the track on the home stretch on the final lap and cut like the whole pack off. i dont understand y they put taht extra little bit of track on the last stretch of the track if they dont use it. they just put pilons down and it could cause contravercy like this to arise.
on the results that were posted at the meet it said taht robson had been dq'ed and that currie had been named the official winner, but i missed the award ceramonies so i didnt c who was given the medal.

There are 7 lanes on the home straight for the 60m but there is only 6 for the entire oval, that's why they put the pylons down, so its not like they don't use that extra bit. It really shouldn't cause an controversy especially since he had already run the first 3 laps and not left the track.

i just heard from mark silvestre that he reseaved the 2nd place medal for the 800 which means currie was 1st and moore was 3rd and robson must have been dq'ed. they must just not have put that into the posted results.

from what I saw, robson had a decent margin on currie goin into the final lap anyway...but i could be wrong and anythin can happen I guess.

For your information: The medals for the juvenille boys were given out after the results were official. There was an appeal after the results were official and the jury of appeal reinstated Phil Robson as the official winner. The results as posted at www.windsorlegiontrack.com/OTFA_Juv_Sen/2004JuvSrResults.htm are official.
