Looking at the 1500 and ignoring indoor and non-legal, there are 83 sub 3:35 USA performances and 13 Canuck(10 Sully and 3 Hood). 14 of the USA times are Maree and I wonder if they were all after he became a US citizen? I've always thought that, relative to the population sizes, we have fared pretty well in the 1500 compared to the US and this site just proves the point.

I'm at work and decide to see where the canadian records would fit on the all-time lists (yes, I am admitting I have a problem) and noticed that Schiebler's record doesn't even make the list, but right there was this 696 7:42.26 Graeme Fell CAN 19.03.59 4 Oslo 09.07.1983
I guess Fell wasn't Canadian yet b/c that would be our national record...

I guess Fell wasn't Canadian yet b/c that would be our national record... w1.196.telia.com/~u19603668/athletics_all-time_best.htm is good in that it ranks performers, not performances (although appears to be a little out of date with 2001 being the most recent data). There, Fell is the 166th performer over 3000 and his affiliation is listed as GBR. Given he set the steeple record in 85, he must have got citizenship between 83 and 85.

(yes, I am admitting I have a problem) That's step number one in a 12 step program to recovery.
