Just adding names to the list coach. Senior Boys, Mike Nealon goes from 19th OFSAA 06 to being predicted 14th for OFSAA 07 and Matt Kopansky goes from 20th OFSAA 06 - not even making the top 25. What was the difference between their times? 0.3. Just some food for thought. no need to single nealon out there...where's kopansky been this cross season? just wondering because i haven't seen him in results yet. nealon was 2nd at mustang beating meyer, scheibo, coote, juice and co. he's a strong runner and is in good company in the top 15...no need to compare 15 times lets comapre cross results here I was comparing them because he was .3 off him at last years OFSAA XC championships. He has a strong time from Mcquaid and didn't get added to the top 25. I only mentioned Nealon for the simple fact that they were right there with each other at OFSAA. Who did you want me to single out the 21st-30th guys who have possibly become better and joined the top 25?

I predict Michael Power St.joseph ahead of Birchmount CI...(Senior Boys ) I thought birchmount is running at Carter? They are going to both? And Pre-OFSAA will be different this year because Aurora and Dwyer are running at Carter so really if you don't win or maybe come 2nd at Pre-OFSAA then i don't think you stand a chance to compete at ofsaa.. Remember TISS and Massey are still included .. TISS MASSEY AURORA DWYER These teams are way ahead of any other teams so I don't SEE the purpose of running guys in senior just to get a hopeful medal..

FACT Matt Hughes will win senior boys OFSAA cross country.
QUESTION How much will he win by?

are there team results online anywhere from OFSAA XC '06?
and i think some other teams will be up there with AURORA and DWYER but i dont think theres much of a chance for TISS and MASSEY to not go 1-2.

Darlington will win pre ofsaa and ofsaa, his dominance is like Ian Donald hen he was in grade 9 OK, the year that Ian Donald was running as a midget wasn't weak.. Yes he did dominate, but I don't think it was the type that your implying. He was in just way better shape than everyone, and he peaked perfectly at that race. And it helps when you let a runner get away from you in a race and they didn't catch him.. as you can recall that OFSAA in Odessa was one where Ian broke away and JP and Daryl let him for 3 k and when it was the last KM they were on a faster pace than him.. As for the senior boys race HUGHES should win (if Healthy) and he will..It's just like last year.. Hughes will win by 10-15 seconds like Leeder did.. Now with Hughes winning his score is 1 point, so bascily Dwyer should be a contender whenever you have that 1 point as your score..

Hughes is the clear favorite but almost guaranteeing he wins is a little bold, wouldn't you say?

Merid Seleshi dominates 800 and 1500 but i don't think he can crack top ten in an ofsaa 6k race...

ya he might move up but last year he was a minute off of first and 20 seconds out of top ten so i don't see him top 10 this year either but you never know...
