if he's a marathon guy, why is he slated to win the 1500 and not the 3?

raza ahmed has no chance of winning against a field like the senior boys this year, although it would be sweet if he could ( because of his name)

I heard Nicholas Thomas was coming back to TISS for OFSSA track after an unfortunate occurrence at UBC. He has been logging up to 70km a week with the forest man Gabe Jennings. Nick & Gabe are living in Pacific Spirit Park brewing syrup and playing the bongos.
Take my word now I'm calling NICK THOMAS ftw in the 2km Steeple, Andrew Degroot move over you arm flayling bitch.
Also I've heard he's planning on using the window washer celebration in mocking of Degroot

It takes a lot of courage to hide behind a screen name and attempt to put down someone who could make you look silly in probably any distance... Perhaps you're just upset and/or frustrated that deGroot is so strong even with his "arm flayling" technique. I'm pretty sure Ryan Hall's arms don't rise above his waist in his stride. I also think it's safe to say that Zatopek was one of the ugliest runners the world ever saw! But at least Andrew has balls and gives it everything when the gun goes off. Clean yourself and childish posts up.

100% sure hes talking about liam wilson. btw please stop repping wossa runners... runner93 its not like if an athlete is from wossaa they aren't as fast as a guy from another region there have been athletes from wossaa that have gone very far and won ofsaa before. so just cause this liam Wilson guy is from wossaa doesn't mean he can't win, we can predict who we want i wasnt just refering to that 1 post. he also made 3 other posts about fast wossa athletes and how they were going to do well. making a good prediction with some thing to back it up is one thing but just randomly yelling out names is another. there are a lot of strong runners from other regions too and so its not really necessary to show this bias to your own region. im actually from wossa and so yess i am aware that they do have a talented division. i wasnt trying to make a big deal of this or call him out on it, but i think everyone is tired of thinking that their area is stacked.

I think that if somebodies name is even in the mix for a medal they should probably grow a mean beard just to make it look that much better.

steeple chase; Collison, Degroot and Dulhanty should all plan to run under 5:50, they will all be good enough and Smith should try and go with them, but nobody else has a chance. I can see them all running some of the fastest times ever at OFSAA 5:44 - 5:48.
Also i was wondering if ayone thinks that some 3000m runners will try and go for the world jr. standard of 8:15 (for the 5000m)? it would be nice to see Woodfine, Hosier, King, Degroot, and Smith go for the standard and a record.

How about Jeff Archer? He's been running really well recently and deserves to be included in that list.
As for hitting the Worlds Standard at OFSAA, let's wait until we're a little closer to the event (like halfway through the race).
And just forget about anyone breaking Greg Anderson's 8:00.2. It's not happening. Not this year anyways.

Yes, definately agree with limestonemiler. No way is that record going down this year. However won't be suprised if woodfine comes close to the world juniors standard, but we will have to wait a bit to see. & i think you need to give Smith more credit. I say top 3 for sure for him in the steeple
