We have now moved the Kennedy Relays to the University of Windsor track. The same track that Pan-Am Juniors was held at. It will be Friday May 7th under the lights at night. Trophies and windbreakers for all winners (including relays) and very nice custom designed (not stock lame a$$) medals for second and third in all events (including relays). Information can be found at sh.triton.net or email me at shnidei AT cogeco DOT ca or see the attachment Thanks Attachments:

Ray Tucker's records are still standing, I see. Just ran with him the other day.

Even on the fast track at the University of Windsor I think that record will be hard to break. Imagine he did it on a cinder track and ran half a mile, which is longer than 800m.

Are you going to start new record keeping since the cinder track was imperial and the U track is metric?
I mean, it's a fast track, but I don't see anyone in high school ever breaking 10.14 in the 100 there.

I went back through all the files and have updated all events now with records for the years that we did run on a metric track (late 70's through 93). I have kept some records if the distance run was further and the time was faster. For example the 880 yard is farther than 800m and our 880y open boys time is faster and therefore it is still the record. However the 800m girls time is faster than 880 yard and therefore is the record. The 100 yard dash is way shorter than 100m and therefore we are using only previous 100m times. I will try and post the top ten list tonight.

We are adding OG and OB discus to the meet. Please see sh.triton.net/Kennedy Relays/entry 2010b.doc for the new field schedule. I will post the new hy-tek file as soon as Shawn adds these two events to it. Mile should be hot.

Forgot to post my top ten list for this meet. Note metric distance were run only for a less than 2 decades so it is the best I could do. Especially in the girls 100m as only the #1 time was posted in the paper. Sorry. Here goes. Attachments:

I also hear that the mile will be hot with some top milers trying to get the record. If interested talk to your coach to enter. Only $5 to enter and winner gets a trophy, commerative windbreaker and a book prize for you or your coach. We will also be trying to get a phototimed 1500m split as we have to cameras. Not sure if it will work but it did at Pan Am Jrs.
