With Vancouver hosting for 4 years, it also offers the possibility to perhaps (just an idea) extend the Fall Cross-Country by an extra week or so, in order to minimize conflicts with the Schools, the Universities (CIS and NAIA and NCAA), and branch programs, and hopefully maximize the participation rates at Nationals --- that would be great... Of course at the other end (the beginning) of the Fall season, that also increases the potential to get a little more base-building training in after a good summer track season... Seems all good to me...

I'll bet WestJet could be talked into offering some great deals for all those cross-canada trips, expecially if they were able to buy into a package of some kind. WestJet has a few tiers of sponsorship. We tried to get them to sponsor mountain running, and they basically gave us the conference rate. They said they couldn't go more, because they have already selected their main sponsorship focus, but maybe with the larger heft of AC...
