That website isn't very good, here's the article:
OTTAWA – Athletics Canada announced today that Jesse Lipscombe, a track and field athlete, committed an anti-doping violation. The violation occurred during in-competition doping control conducted on May 14 2007, at the Felix Sanchez Invitational held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Mr. Lipscombe’s anti-doping rule violation (Rule 32.2a of the IAAF 2006-07 Competition Rules) was a result of an adverse analytical finding for Ephedrine, a prohibited substance on the World Anti-Doping Agengcy (WADA) Prohibited List.
In response to Athletics Canada’s notification of the adverse analytical finding, Mr. Lipscombe waived his right to a hearing and accepted the sanction proposed by Athletics Canada, namely a sanction of six months sport ineligibility commencing retroactively August 16, 2007.
As a result of this assertion, and as outlined in IAAF Rule 39.1, Mr. Lipscombe shall be automatically disqualified from the event in question (“Felix Sanchez Invitational”) and from all subsequent events of the competition, with all resulting consequences for the athlete, including the forfeiture of all titles, awards, medals, points and prize and appearance money. The athlete’s results from the sample collection date until the completion of the period of ineligibility will also be annulled.
Athletics Canada is the national sport governing body for the sport of track and field including cross-country running, road running and road racing. The association believes in physical health and fitness, individual excellence and personal growth, individual development beyond sport, as well as inclusiveness and integrity.
